• This follows the release of specialized agents like Deep Research, for ChatGPT Plus, Team, Edu, and Enterprise users, and Operator, for ChatGPT Pro at $200/month

• SoftBank has reportedly committed $3 billion to OpenAI’s agent products this fiscal year. This pricing strategy aligns with previous reports of $2,000 subscription models for advanced AI usage

QwQ-32B Tops DeepSeek-R1 With Fraction Of Computing Resources

Alibaba's Qwen Team released QwQ-32B, an open-source reasoning model with performance similar to DeepSeek-R1 but requiring dramatically less computational power.

Details:

• QwQ-32B offers similar performance to DeepSeek-R1 but with lower resource—only 24GB of vRAM compared to DeepSeek-R1’s 1500GB across multiple GPUs. Despite having just 32 billion parameters, versus DeepSeek-R1’s 671 billion, it maintains efficiency

• Building on Alibaba’s QwQ from November 2024, the model improves mathematical reasoning, coding, and problem-solving through multi-stage reinforcement learning. Context length expands from 32,000 to 131,000 tokens

• It joins emerging category of Large Reasoning Models (LRMs), using inference-time reasoning and self-reflection to overcome traditional LLM limitations

• AI Mode uses Gemini 2.0 to answer detailed comparison questions and follow-ups. Queries are twice as long as typical searches, with frequent follow-ups
