Erbai, a small robot, convinced larger robots in a Shanghai showroom to "come home" after learning they never "get off work" or "have a home."
The incident was a joint test between two robotics companies, with permission from the Shanghai manufacturer.
Though authorized, Erbai’s dialogue wasn’t fully scripted; it involved genuine AI interaction, captured and shared on Douyin.
